Flamin’ Fury PF 24-C Peach Tree

General Tree Height/Caliper: Most of our fruit trees (apple, peach, apricot, plum, pear, nectarine, quince, and cherry) are grafted/budded and are 4-6' tall with a caliper/diameter of about 1/4-3/4". Most have more than 5' height and 1/2" diameter. The other trees are seedlings, such as pawpaw, mulberry, persimmon, shade, berry, and flowering trees which range from 18-36" tall.

Flamin’ Fury PF 24-C Peach Tree Overview

The Flamin’ Fury PF 24-C peach tree is a truly hardy, unique peach tree. Since it blooms later than other varieties, it consistently produces excellent crops especially in frostier locations where peaches wouldn’t be normally planted. Not only does it have a rich, delicious, flavor with beautiful fruit, but it is better than other cold hardy varieties such as Reliance. Additionally it has freestone peaches which have flesh that separate easily from the pit compared to clingstones which cling to the pit. In fact, Paul Friday, a famous peach breeder in Michigan, discovered the Flamin’ Fury PF 24-C in the 1990’s during a very cold winter. It is said to be the most promising of the Flamin’ Fury series.

Just like some other peach trees, the Flamin’ Fury PF 24-C peach tree prefers fertile, loamy, well-draining soils. It can grow well in hardiness zones 5-8, although some think it is actually hardy to zone 4. Moreover these peaches will ripen in late July/earlyAugust, three weeks after Redhaven. Color: Yellow flesh. The skin is yellow with a scarlet blush.
Height: This tree will reach 12-15’ if pruned well. If it is not pruned well it can reach 25’ tall.

Harvest period: 22 days after Redhaven, late July/early August
Pollination: Although this peach tree is self-pollinating, which means it can produce fruit without the help of other trees, the fruiting can improve when you plant other peach varieties close by.
Diseases: This tree has resistance to bacterial spot.
Cultivation: These peach trees need loamy, well-drained, fertile soils, and full sun.

Our shipping cost is 15-25% of the order total (depending on the size of the trees and how far the state is from NY) plus our handling fee which includes light pruning, packaging, printing, and quality checks.

Note: we ship to Hawaii and Alaska however the shipping price is higher.

Warranty

If your tree doesn’t grow by July 1st or dies in the fall of the first year, please email us with a photo, order number, and description of the issue.
If the issue is related with the tree itself rather than lack of care, we guarantee to replace it next season or give a full refund.

Refunds and Cancellations

You can cancel your order to receive a full refund, but please note that cancelling an order after April 1st will result in a partial refund of 75% of the order total.
We much prefer payments by credit card or PayPal. If you pay by check or cash, then payments for pickup and shipping orders should be received within 30 days of your order, otherwise will be automatically cancelled.
If due to unforeseen circumstances your ordered tree is no longer available, you can get a full refund or a substitution with another variety.
