Sweet Sixteen Apple
This apple has a complex and sweet flavor, much rich like our Sweet Sixteens. It even includes hints of cherry candy and raw sugar and tastes similar to the MacIntosh apple. It was developed in Minnesota from its parents Northern Spy and Malinda and was introduced in 1973. It is known for its cold hardiness.
